What is your most important daily ritual?
Waking up my baby with good morning love.
A Defining Moment. Tell us about a pivotal choice you've made in your life that has brought you where you are today.
We know you have a penchant for adventure, what is the most inspiring wildland you have ever explored? Any insider tips for travelers interested in following in your footsteps?
Yosemite. It's insanely crowded but standing at the base of those walls is an unmatched experience. I would recommend checking out the surrounding areas for cool camping/lodging and trails (And climbs!) because there are tons of places in and around the park that are nowhere near as crowded as the valley.
Tell us about what you’re up to in this world - you’re passions, your pursuits?
My goal in life is to try to leave the planet a little cleaner and a little kinder. I also hope to give my daughter a strong personal moral code that leads her to do her best for the world and others.
Spill your secrets - what favorite natural beauty or wellness products help keep you looking and feeling as amazing as you do?
Epsom Salts - Awesome for soaking and even better with a couple drops of your favorite essential oil. Also, Dry shampoo is one of my main beauty obsessions. I don’t have a long detailed routine and I like to keep my products simple and easy. Dry shampoo is one of those absolute necessities though, especially with a toddler and a love of camping. Wildland has created a light effective dry shampoo that doesn’t just cover your hair with a perfume and nothing else. It absorbs all the oiliness and helps bring my super fine hair back to life for one more day. A small amount goes a long way so it’s perfect for helping stay fresh and clean while backpacking or on a long climbing trip. With it being a dry powder instead of a spray, I am able to pack it with limited space and have less trash when I’m done. I can honestly say that this dry shampoo has replaced all the others in my beauty bag.
What is the wildest thing you've ever done? Any lessons learned?
My biggest, wildest thing to date is climbing 500 feet up a granite wall in Yosemite. Looking out over the valley and seeing a beautiful sunset was the end to a perfect experience. It was a relatively short climb for the area but it's what got me hooked on the sport and setting more advanced goals.
